Swiss-led business delegation visits Guiyang for trade exchange and cooperation

A 16-member delegation of entrepreneurs from Switzerland, Hungary, Singapore and some Chinese cities visited Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, from Mar 25 to 27 to learn more about local enterprises and seek opportunities for business cooperation.

The event was organized by the Swiss Consulate General in Chengdu, the Swiss-Chinese Economic Association, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in China and the Swiss-Chinese Association.

The Guiyang Municipal Council for International Trade Promotion embraced the delegation.

During the visit, the delegation visited key enterprises at Guiyang's pharmaceutical industrial park, the airport economic zone, the free trade zone and the high-tech and economic development zones, praising the city's achievements in big data, equipment manufacturing, the pharmaceutical industry and free trade zone construction.

The delegation also took part in a business cooperation forum on March 27, attended by 14 companies including four from Guiyang, promoting demands and exchanging opportunities of investment cooperation.
