Updated: 2019-04-29

The southwestern city joined hands with Henan Provincial Bonded Group to collaborate to build a service platform for mid- and high-end consumer goods and an import and export commodity exhibition center.

The Guiyang Municipal People's Government and Henan Provincial Bonded Group entered into the strategic cooperation framework on Apr 28 in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province. Xu Hao, member of the Standing Committee of the Guiyang Municipal Committee of Communist Party of China and executive deputy mayor of Guiyang, and Xu Ping, president of Henan Bonded Group inked the agreement.

Henan Bonded Group was among the first batch of contractors for China’s national cross-border trade e-commerce pilot projects. As the operator of the Henan Bonded Logistics Center, the group boasts mature hands-on experience in bonded areas and cross-border e-commerce operations, with business services covering the entire cross-border e-commerce industry chain.

Guiyang is actively taking the strategic opportunity arising from the state’s new round of high-level opening up, and hopes to explore a new path to open up inland cities through cooperation with Henan Bonded Group, said Xu Hao.

Xu Ping said Guiyang has enjoyed a great deal of policy support for an open economy, cross-border e-commerce, and big data, adding that the group will use its advantages and experience to help Guiyang achieve high-level development.

The Guiyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce said it will guarantee the project with better service, higher efficiency and a more convenient environment.
