International wine, food carnival opens in Guiyang

The 2019 China-Guiyang Silk and Road International Wine and Food Carnival opened at the Guiyang International Eco-conference Center on Sept 10, in a bid to expand exchanges between domestic and overseas enterprises -- and help Guiyang make progress with the city value chain. 

Comprising three activities – an international red wine forum-Italy special, international red wine and food fair and an Italy Night -- the carnival saw 60 guests from 30 companies from countries including Italy, Germany and Japan.

A signing ceremony was also held on the day, witnessing three cooperation memos, including one between Italian wine union and the National Exhibition and Transaction Center (Guiyang) of Patent Technology. 

An investment cooperation agreement was also signed between the Guanshanhu government and Henan Dazhongmen Network Science and Technology Co, centering on West China's import and export commodity demonstration and trade center. 

Aiming to build up a platform for red wine dealers from home and abroad and enrich the red wine consumption market in Guiyang, the event is expected to increase medium and high-end demand from consumers in Guiyang.
