In order to strengthen Guiyang's role as a national cross-border e-commerce comprehensive demonstration zone, and to fully unleash foreign trade benefits brought by preferential policies, Guiyang bureau of commerce joined forces with the Guiyang customs on Aug 12 to hold a training session, inviting more than 200 representatives from foreign trade companies and e-commerce firms to attend the event online or on-site.

The session was mainly designed to explain and promote the new B2B (Business to Business) export model, in which enterprises can contact and make deals with foreign companies through the e-commerce platform, and then transport the goods ordered directly to their destination.

The training session was reportedly considered by many firms to be helpful in boosting future foreign trade.

It aimed to motivate more Guizhou companies to have their products go global, offer insights into expanding in international markets and raise the overseas profile of Guizhou-made products.
