Guiyang import and export association founded

The launching ceremony for Guiyang Import and Export Enterprise Association was held on Oct 14, attended by representatives of six financial institutions, five universities, five commercial institutes, and 68 export enterprises.

Guided by Guiyang bureau of commerce, the association was initiated by five companies, and included the first group of 68 businesses operating in the machinery manufacturing, food processing, and cross-border ecommerce sectors.

Guizhou Tyre Import and Export Co was elected at the ceremony as the president of the association. The cross-border e-commerce branch of the association was also founded during the event.

The founding of the association will inject new momentum into Guiyang's export-oriented economy, and further promote Guiyang's opening-up.
