On a year-on-year basis, Guiyang's CPI increase in February was consistent with the national average, ranking 24th out of 36 large and medium-sized cities in the country, 0.4 percentage points higher than the provincial average.

Statistical analysis indicates that one of the reasons for the year-on-year decrease in food prices in Guiyang in February was the sufficient and stable supply of pork, chicken, and eggs in the market.
