"The banquet dishes need to highlight the characteristics of Guizhou in terms of ingredients, shapes, flavors, and aromas," said Huang Chunhong, chief judge of the competition and vice president of the Guizhou Cuisine Association. Apart from showcasing skills, the competition aimed to promote Guizhou cuisine, hoping to attract more people to appreciate Guizhou through its culinary delights.
