Guiyang hosts foreign trade tea event

A Foreign Trade Tea event was held on Dec 20 in Guiyang to support local enterprises in navigating the complexities of expanding into international markets. 

Representatives from various organizations discussed new import-export tariff laws, cross-border payments, international logistics and warehousing, and overseas market conditions. 

A key event highlight was the signing of a talent cooperation agreement between Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College and the Guiyang Import and Export Enterprises Association. This partnership aims to cultivate and supply more talent for Guiyang's foreign trade sector. 

The China (Guiyang) Cross-Border E-commerce Public Service Center also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the China International Investment Promotion Association Special Committee to jointly promote the development of Guiyang's foreign trade economy. 

The center awarded expert consultant certificates to six service provider companies to enhance professional guidance and services. 

The "Foreign Trade Tea" series has been held multiple times since 2022. It has effectively established a platform for government-business communication and fostered a positive atmosphere for foreign trade exchanges. 

Also established in 2022, the Guiyang Import and Export Enterprises Association has attracted over 160 outstanding enterprises by organizing various sharing activities, competitions, and trade fairs.
