Guiyang and Namangan strengthen collaborative ties

Guiyang hosted a meeting on April 8 with Namangan, Uzbekistan, to explore potential avenues for collaboration.

At the gathering, Wang Hong, mayor of Guiyang, and Inamov Okibjon Odiljonovich, deputy governor of Namangan, signed a letter of intent to establish sister city relationships.

Wang welcomed Inamov and his delegation, offering an overview of Guiyang's recent developments. He expressed optimism that the agreement would mark the beginning of deeper exchanges and cooperation across various sectors, including trade, industry, education, and cultural tourism.

Inamov conveyed his gratitude for Guiyang's hospitality and support. He commended Guiyang's excellent ecological environment and robust development trajectory, reaffirming Namangan's dedication to enhancing exchanges and collaboration with Guiyang.

Inamov also underscored the significance of these efforts in contributing to the development of a China-Uzbekistan community with a shared future.
