The Boten Special Economic Zone detailed its industrial progress and explained various preferential policies and considerations for Chinese enterprises looking to invest in Laos.
The meeting also included in-depth discussions on several potential collaborative projects, such as the construction of the Gui'an-Boten Highway, the establishment of international freight train services connecting to the China-Laos Railway, and the development of a processing trade industrial park targeting Southeast Asia.
A communication mechanism was also established, and an agreement on the frequency of mutual visits and exchange activities was reached.
