From April 21 to 22, Guiyang Mayor Wang Hong led a delegation to the Macao Special Administrative Region to strengthen ties and explore new avenues for collaboration.

During the visit, Wang met with Lyu Yuyin, deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, and Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, director of the Macao Government Tourism Office.

The delegation also participated in the Guiyang-Macao Financial Seminar, aimed at deepening cooperation between Guiyang and Macao.

Lyu praised Guiyang's recent achievements in economic and social development, affirming the Liaison Office's role as a bridge to foster expanded exchanges and cooperation between the two regions.

In discussions with Senna Fernandes, Wang highlighted opportunities for collaboration in resource development, market expansion, and service enhancement to boost the cultural and tourism sectors in both regions.

Senna Fernandes echoed this sentiment, committing to efforts that promote resource sharing and complementary strengths for coordinated development and mutual benefits.

During the seminar, Guiyang officials presented key industries and projects to leaders from Macao's financial institutions. Wang invited these institutions to visit Guiyang for further discussions on friendship, cooperation, and development.
