Guiyang hosted a tourism, economic, and real estate promotion event on June 20 in Bangkok, Thailand, where Guiyang Mayor Wang Hong led a delegation, joining Xu Lan, the education counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, and representatives from the Thailand tourism industry for a forum.
Hu Lin, director of the Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism, invited attendees to explore the unique allure of cool Guiyang. She highlighted the city's soothing 22.3 C breeze, spicy and sour cuisine, and vibrant music scene.
Counselor Xu expressed hopes for strengthened exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two regions in the cultural and tourism sectors. The Tourism Authority of Thailand also anticipated increased tourist exchanges and visits between Guiyang and Thailand.
Other event highlights included Guizhou Guilv International Travel Services Co introducing two inbound tourism routes and signing a visitor exchange agreement with Thai tourism enterprises, as well as a ceremony establishing the Guiyang China Travel Thailand Marketing Center.
The delegation also promoted the city's real estate, inviting attendees to enjoy Guiyang's cool summer.
Cooperation agreements were then signed between the Thai Guizhou Chamber of Commerce, the Guiyang Import and Export Enterprises Association, ANANTAMAT, and Guizhou Tyre Co.
Guiyang aims to utilize the newly launched Bangkok-Guiyang direct flight to implement targeted marketing strategies, optimize tourism offerings, and enhance service offerings.
