Guiyang excels in nighttime consumption spaces

Guiyang stands out for its well-developed nighttime consumption spaces, invigorating the nighttime economy and enhancing urban consumption trends.

In 2022, the city introduced an action plan focused on nurturing the high-quality development of the nighttime economy under the urban brand "Cool Guiyang". The city's initiatives span various sectors, including night food, tours, shopping, entertainment, reading, accommodation, sports, and appreciation.

This strategic direction has propelled Guiyang's nighttime economy to new heights, resulting in rapid expansion and the establishment of prominent nighttime consumption hubs such as Mixc and Xin Yin 1950.

These developments have structured Guiyang's nighttime consumption landscape into five core business districts, 10 regional business districts, and 25 distinct street blocks.

Key areas like Erqi Road Snack Street, Qingyun Market, and Cao Zhuangyuan Street provide people with diverse and captivating nighttime leisure experiences, enriched by unique cultural elements.

Authorities are dedicated to establishing a sustainable framework for advancing the nighttime economy with a focus on well-organized, fully functional, diverse, and well-regulated nighttime economic clusters.
