Guiyang International Dry Port has broadened its global network, now connecting with 144 countries and regions. Since its launch on April 30, 2021, the port has transported 168,400 metric tons of goods via the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, dispatching 120 trains along this route.

Dai Tianhua, deputy Party secretary of the port, said that the port has emerged as a vital hub, linking the China-Europe Railway Express, the China-Laos Railway, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, and the Guangdong-Guizhou Corridor. The optimization of the Guiyang-Guangdong train route has reduced transit time by approximately 30 hours.

In 2024, the port achieved a milestone by exporting 55 new energy buses to Laos via the China-Laos train, marking the first full departure and non-container mode shipment by international train.

The port, located next to the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, also offers a full range of services, including container booking, customs declaration, and bill of lading issuance. Strategic partnerships with coastal ports and logistics companies have further improved rail-sea intermodal transport, cutting customs clearance times by about 50 percent.

The port has handled over 150,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units), with a notable shift in exports from traditional goods to new energy vehicles and lithium batteries.
