Guiyang promotes trade and culture in Belarus

Guiyang held an economic, trade, and cultural promotion event in Minsk, Belarus, on Aug 22, which was attended by prominent officials and business leaders, including Nie Xuesong, director of the standing committee of the Guiyang municipal people's congress, who delivered the opening remarks.

Also addressing the attendees were Wang Ruijuan, economic and commercial counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Belarus, and Cai Yong, general manager of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Development Co.

Nie highlighted the development achievements of Guiyang and Gui'an in big data, cultural tourism, ecology, industry, and international openness. He called for deepening exchanges across multiple fields, expanding the scope and depth of economic and trade cooperation, and fostering new chapters in cultural tourism collaboration.

Nie also invited attendees to the upcoming China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo, where they can experience the province’s enchanting natural landscapes and mesmerizing ethnic culture.

The event was attended by representatives from JSC China Merchants CHN-BLR Commerce and Logistics Co, along with key enterprises, including Guiyang Foreign Trade Development Group, Guizhou Jiangjiu Group, and Guizhou Jonyang Kinetics Co, who presented their offerings.

Participants viewed a promotional video showcasing Guiyang's cultural and tourism attractions and explored various exhibits featuring cultural tourism products, agricultural specialties, and unique food and beverages.

The event also witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements between Guiyang enterprises and their Belarusian counterparts.
