Guiyang hosts 1st China Credit and Digital Economy Exchange Activities

The first China Credit and Digital Economy Exchange Activities took place on Aug 27 in Guiyang, setting the stage for the upcoming China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025, scheduled to take place from Aug 28 to 30.

This landmark event aimed to forge a collaborative platform uniting government, industry, academia, research, and application sectors.

The event centered on pivotal discussions about the digital transformation of the credit industry, exploring credit data governance, and optimizing AI-driven credit evaluation. The overarching goal was to contribute to an open, secure, and efficient modern credit service system, providing strong support for economic and social development.

Distinguished speakers included Professor Wang Wei from the Party School of the Communist Party of China Central Committee (National Academy of Governance) and Xue Jianhua, a representative from Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

Participants engaged with the theme "Innovative Applications of Trusted Data Spaces in the Credit Sector", sharing insights and recommendations for Guizhou as it leads the national effort to establish a benchmark in the "Artificial Intelligence + Credit Economy".

Attendees highlighted that the burgeoning credit economy offers new opportunities and momentum for Guizhou's digital economy to thrive. They advocated for utilizing "Artificial Intelligence +" as a catalyst to create a new "Data-Credit-Value" loop.

This strategy positions AI as the core of the credit economy, emphasizing five key dimensions: data aggregation, data utilization, intelligence empowerment, industry promotion, and good governance.

The ultimate aim is to develop a new model for credit economy growth, characterized by data-driven processes, credit empowerment, scenario traction, industrial clustering, and governance modernization.
