Guiyang is revolutionizing its business environment through the integration of advanced AI technology into government services, highlighted by the introduction of the "Guiren Zhiban" AI assistant.

Guiyang resident Wu Yan recently used this AI assistant to amend her "Pharmaceutical Business License" in just six minutes. Similarly, Ms Zhu, an eyewear store owner, was allowed to complete her business license application inspection without leaving her home.

The AI assistant is transforming the experience for businesses and citizens by offering a comprehensive suite of services that includes inquiry, guidance, processing, tracking, and evaluation.

It also serves as an "intelligent colleague" for service window employees, helping them quickly understand application requirements and pre-screen materials, thus enhancing overall service efficiency.

The AI assistant, equipped with guides for over 5,000 services across the province, supports inquiries for 100 types of commonly used electronic certificates and can manage 300 high-frequency services.

Since its launch in March, it has handled over 318,000 inquiries and facilitated 149 "chat-and-process" transactions, cutting application time by an average of 60 percent.

Guiyang has also introduced the "cloud Inspection" service model, which uses remote video, real-time image transmission, and electronic signatures to digitize the entire inspection process, from application acceptance to approval.

This model eliminates time and geographical constraints, achieving "more data movement, zero citizen travel”, while enhancing transparency and credibility through recorded archives, standard disclosures, and GPS verification.

"Cloud inspection" has been implemented across various sectors in the city, including labor dispatch, food operations, medical devices, and pharmaceutical retail, boosting approval efficiency by over 50 percent and reducing administrative costs by approximately 60 percent.
