A delegation from the Guiyang bureau of commerce visited Beijing from Oct 19 to 20 to promote investment.
Through high-level meetings, company visits, and on-site inspections, the delegation sought to deepen multisectoral cooperation and introduce quality resources to support Guiyang's industrial upgrading and consumer innovation.
During their visit to the China-Australia Chamber of Commerce, the delegation engaged in discussions centered on complementary advantages and model innovation. They explored establishing a regular industrial cooperation dialogue mechanism, expanding bilateral trade, and promoting industrial chain integration.
The delegation also visited the Huayi cultural tourism complex to explore introducing the Star Grand Theater model, aimed at revitalizing Guiyang's properties.
In line with the cooperation consensus reached in June between Guiyang and Charoen Pokphand Group in Bangkok, Thailand, the delegation visited the group's China headquarters.
Discussions focused on increasing investment in Guizhou, integrating supply chains, enhancing operations for fresh produce, and fostering brand incubation. The talks also emphasized constructing a comprehensive food industry chain, expanding offerings of high-quality agricultural products, and facilitating the entry of Guizhou's specialty products into international markets.
The delegation also conducted field research on innovative consumer projects, including JD Mall's Beijing Shuangjing store. They studied Beijing's innovative practices in offline immersive experiences, the creation of new consumption scenarios, and the operation of distinct commercial districts.
