Guiyang Hisense Electronics Co is stepping up efforts to achieve its ambitious annual output of 10 billion yuan ($1.42 billion).
In its smart manufacturing workshop, robots can position the back panels of 75-inch televisions in just 20 seconds.
Guiyang Hisense has established a robust production foundation that supports its global market expansion. "This year marks the fifth year of our overseas market expansion, with cumulative exports expected to reach 2.61 million units," said Zhu Hongchen, deputy general manager of Guiyang Hisense.
The company has expanded its international presence since exporting 310,000 televisions to Japan in 2021, investing nearly 30 million yuan in technological upgrades in 2024 and incorporating advanced systems like AI visual inspection and smart warehouses, boosting automation rates to 55 percent.

Guiyang Hisense has attracted 15 supporting enterprises since its establishment in 1997, forming a 30-minute supply chain circle. Local support rates have increased from 30 percent initially to 83 percent, and the material delivery cycle has been reduced from one week to just two hours.
This has resulted in a Hisense ecosystem chain with an annual output value of 11 billion yuan. Six supporting enterprises with annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan have been cultivated this year alone.
Guiyang Hisense utilizes its advanced manufacturing experience to empower local SMEs, promoting digital transformation among its supporting enterprises. This collaboration has established interconnected production and inventory systems, reducing manufacturing and logistics costs.
