As summer's cool breezes sweep through Guiyang, "China's Data Valley" is gearing up for its annual flagship event in the digital economy. From Aug 28 to 30, China International Big Data Industry Expo 2026 (Big Data Expo 2026) will take place here, with final preparations underway.

Marking the first year of China's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period, the expo aims to showcase pioneering achievements, foster the exchange of industry insights, and facilitate supply-demand matching to fuel high-quality growth in the digital economy.

Since its first launch in 2015, the Big Data Expo has expanded over 11 years into one of the world's leading comprehensive events in the big data industry. This year's program includes five main activity categories: the opening ceremony, a professional exhibition, industry exchanges, exhibition-industry integration, and brand competitions. The event features industrialization, specialization, and internationalization, alongside an overall upgrade to its hosting standards.

The 60,000-square-meter professional exhibition serves as a window into the "token economy". Structured around the full chain of token production, circulation, and application, the exhibition will be organized into sections including computing infrastructure, data supply, model-driven applications, security guarantee, and intelligent experience, bringing together over 300 exhibitors.

Major enterprises such as China Telecom, Huawei, and Inspur will present their computing infrastructure achievements, with a host of new technologies – including AI agent facilities and digital intelligence factories – making their debut at the expo.
