The Western Import and Export Commodities Exhibition and Sales Center is expected to be opened in Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou province, next March, according to a promotion conference held Dec 12.

Chery Wanda Bus plans to build an international commercial vehicle plant in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone -- the GETDZ-- in Guiyang, capital of southwestern Guizhou province, according to Nov 15 reports in the local media.
Guiyang signed 244 medium and high-end commercial projects from January to October this year, with an estimated investment of $5.14 billion.
To revitalize businesses, Guiyang plans to increase the number of commercial carriers, such as commercial complexes, comprehensive supermarkets, pedestrian streets, and markets, to 71 by the end of this year.
During the first three quarters of this year, Southwest China's Guizhou province has realized a total foreign trade of 31.54 billion yuan ($4.52 billion), including 22.72 billion yuan in exports and 8.82 billion yuan in imports.
